Mary Maertens, RN, PHN

A registered nurse and public health nurse, Mary brings her clinical background and business acumen to bear in her role. Prior to FUHN, Mary served as Regional President and CEO of a rural health system called Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center for 14 years. At Avera, Mary led efforts around population health, data transmission, integration, and analysis and orchestrated many value-based arrangements with payers. She served as a board member of the Minnesota Hospital Association from 2009 to 2020.
